Our orthodontist will determine which retainer is ideal for you considering various factors such as initial clinical condition, treatment mechanics, final occlusion (bite). - How long do I have to wear retainers for?
We stress the importance of wearing retainers for full-time (24/7) after orthodontic treatment for 6 – 12 months. Our orthodontist will continue to see you during retention phase and guide you accordingly.
Retainers are for life! We stress the importance of wearing retainers nightly or 3-4 nights/week to maintain straight teeth forever.
