dental implants

  • Dental Implants mimic natural teeth in function, structure, and appearance more closely than any other tooth replacement solution. They can replace any number of failing or missing teeth to restore eating and speaking abilities while giving patients confidence by restoring their smile. These life-changing benefits offered by dental implants make them the gold standard in tooth replacement in modern dentistry.
  • What are dental implants made of?
    • Dental implants are made of biocompatible titanium screws that integrate with your bone to provide stability and support for solid biting function.
    • Our office uses only reputable brands – Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Hiossen.
  • I am missing some teeth. Am I a good candidate for implants?
    • To fully benefit from dental implants, you must have healthy gums and jawbone to support the implants. Our implant specialist will first evaluate a CT scan of the site to examine bone quantity and quality, and will determine if you are a candidate for implants. Bone grafting may be needed prior to implants to improve bone quality.
    • What to expect at the dental implant appointment:
      • The process of getting an implant is divided into 2 phases, and the entire process can take from 4 to 8 months.
        • Phase I: Implant placement
          • The procedure can take as little as 1 hour but varies depending on the number of implant placement (single vs. multiple) and the complexity of the case.
        • Phase II: Implant restoration
          • The patient will have a follow-up appointment in 3-4 months to allow the implant to properly heal and fuse with the bone.
      • Once stability is achieved, an impression will be taken to fabricate the implant crown(s).
Lastly, the implant will be restored with a zirconia crown by our dentist.
    • How long do implants last?
      • Implants are considered a permanent solution for missing teeth and can last forever given proper care and maintenance.
    • Get a consultation with our implant specialist to see if you are a candidate for dental implants.

Patient Reviews

Finally got around to finding a dentist and I have definitely found the right one. Very clean facility! Staff is welcoming and extremely polite. I was comfortable the moment I walked in. The entire visit was painless.

Yelp

Let me start off by saying I have a huge fear when it comes to the dentist. However, Dr. Christina Lee and staff are amazing and VERY gentle. Dr. Lee keeps you inform on what she’s doing and constantly asks if you’re ok. I went in and had 2 filings and a deep cleaning; the plan was to start off with the left side first and then go back on another day for the right side but when Dr. Lee was done she asked me how I felt and seriously I have not experienced such a pleasant/painless visit at a dentist. I didn’t feel anything! I told her lets do the other side and get it over with. (So weird for me to say) Overall, hands down the best experience I’ve ever had!!! Happy to say I’m not afraid to go back again in 3 months.  thanks to you Dr. Christina Lee and staff!!!

Yelp

This place is great family oriented clean and caring. Every staff member I interacted with was very helpful I’ve always had an enormous fear of the dentist due to past negative experiences but Dr. Christina Lee is easily the best dentist I’ve ever had. She explained everything in away I can understand she was very carrying and made sure I always felt comfortable.
