fillings

- Dental fillings are often used to treat small cavities, chipped or worn down teeth. They work by replacing a part of the tooth that has been destroyed by tooth decay or damaged from trauma or wear.
- There are two common filling material options:
- Composite resin is a white/invisible filling that is made of a ceramic and plastic compound and bonds to the tooth. This adhesive property allows for conservative tooth shaping.
- Amalgam is a silver-colored filling that is made from a combination of metals. It is durable and affordable, however not esthetic.
- When it comes to what fillings materials are to be used for your dental care, a dentist will take many factors into consideration – cosmetic, size and location of cavity, patient history, primary or permanent dentition – and will determine on an individualized basis.
Patient Reviews
Extremely clean and well kept facility. I was very comfortable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Christina Lee took care of me and clearly explained everything from start to finish. Her professionalism and confidence gave me ease of mind and security that I would be taken care of. Her staff and assistants were great as well. Cherry on top was the TV in the room while getting worked on. Definitely found my dentist and would refer to all my friends.
The dentist and the staff are friendly and personable. We really appreciate all of their patience and kindness.
I love coming to the dentist here! Everyone is so friendly and they make an uncomfortable experience comfortable. Especially Tania, she makes it so that you feel really cared about!
